Pour water into a thick-walled pan, add the required amount of granulated sugar and boil the syrup.

The readiness of the syrup can be checked as follows. If a drop of syrup dropped onto a plate is touched with your finger after a minute and it comes out dry, the syrup is ready.


Place “beads” of orange peels into the prepared syrup and pour in the juice squeezed from the lemon, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes. Let the jam cool.


When the jam has cooled, pour it into a jar and add orange “curls”, having first removed them from the string.
